Horsetail Falls, OR

On a time crunch driving From Portland Oregon to Yakima Washington, we decided to stop by Multnomah Falls but missed the shuttle from the parking lot. As we waited for the shuttle to come back we realized we could have walked to the falls and back before the shuttle returned but by then it was getting late so we decided we would come another time and drove by the falls really slow (last picture shown below). On our way out of Oregon’s Columbia River Gorge we came upon this other waterfall and I hopped out of the car while my boyfriend did circles around the small parking lot. I was disappointed to not have been able to photograph Multnomah Falls but glad I did not leave without some beautiful shots of Horsetail Falls.

Canon Beach, OR

On this roadtrip I really wanted to stop at Canon Beach and I’m glad we got the chance as it was a stunning drive up the Oregon coastline to get here. It was a busier weekend and there were a lot of people walking around and eating at the local bars and restaurants. We wandered around the town and came across Coastline Surf Shop, supported local and got a crewneck. There was a fair street market where we got local trail mix, chocolates and popcorn. It was a cute quaint town to stop by on our trip up the coast.
